Jordan and Luke met in 2018 and have been good mates ever since. Years of working side by side, from backyard removals to storm clean-ups interstate, turned that friendship into a partnership.
Jordan is based in Port Noarlunga with his partner and their dog Shelby, who they treat like a son. Luke is in Nairne in the Adelaide Hills, raising a young family. When we're not up a tree, you'll usually find us four wheel driving and camping somewhere with no phone reception.
Bushmasters is built on the same things that made us good mates: we turn up when we say we will, we're straight with you about what a job needs, and we look after each other on site and look after your property too.
We cover most of Adelaide: the southern and eastern suburbs and the Hills. Get in touch for a free quote.
I grew up around trees. My dad and brother are both arborists, so it's been in the family for as long as I can remember. I started out in the UK, moved to Australia in 2013 when I was 18, and have been working with trees ever since: over 12 years of hands-on experience, in the UK and all over Australia.
I climb, and I'm proficient in removals and pruning, including crown reductions. I've worked alongside cranes on bigger jobs, and I've travelled for storm work too. In early 2024, Luke and I headed up to the Gold Coast to help with the clean-up after a major storm.
I've completed my Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF Level 5), and I have a solid understanding of regulated and significant trees and the council approval process. If you're not sure whether your tree needs approval, I can tell you up front and help you through it, so you don't risk a fine or a stalled job.
I'm based in southern Adelaide and look after jobs across the southern suburbs.

Luke
Hi, I'm Luke Bush, climbing arborist at Bushmasters Tree Services, based in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.
With over 15 years of experience in arboriculture, my journey began in the UK. I started on the ground dragging branches and operating chippers, and later earned my NPTC qualifications to become a climbing arborist, where I developed a strong foundation in the industry. I have led tree crews across domestic and commercial sites, building hands-on experience in all aspects of tree work while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
I moved to Australia in 2018, where I worked as an employee and lead climber for several well-established tree companies, further expanding my knowledge of local tree species, conditions and practices. Over the last four years, I've transitioned into a contract climbing arborist role, working with a range of companies across South Australia on complex and high-risk jobs.
Whether it's precision pruning, technical removals or storm clean-up, I bring commitment, quality and care to every job.
